Happy birthday to Jo!
It's good to have you all~~
Recently, I heard two bad news about my dad's friend. Both of these stories have one common point - HEALTH. Both of them are young, passionate, nice and very successful in business. However, these two successful young man were diagnosed that they don't have much time to live. One of them is declared to have an incurable disease, Spinocerebellar Ataxia, and the other one is having a serious liver cancer. I can feel how sad my dad is at this moment, but I am not able to describe my astonishment and sadness about these two news as well as the unpredictable life.
In Chinese, we always say "the bad things go along with good things", which means you can not always have the advantage. In religion, we believe that if you're too fortunate in your life, there must be some unpredictable bad things wait for you. In a more explainable way, if you were very dedicate to your job, then the possible outcome would be making a great fortune, but not surprised about losing health or family relationship.
Which outcome do you prefer more? Hope that everyone can find a balance between work and private life.
Cherishing your friends and family. God bless everyone!
